In Puerto Rico, a third person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the Florida carjacking that resulted in the death of Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvivas. Kevin Ocasio Justiniano, 28, was arrested by U.S. Marshals for unrelated drug trafficking and weapons charges, and is believed to have been the driver of the green Acura seen in the viral video of the armed carjacking in Winter Springs on April 11. Another person of interest, Jordanish Torres-Garcia, is currently in custody for an unrelated case and both individuals are expected to be charged with carjacking resulting in a death. Investigators believe Torres-Garcia was the man who approached Aguasvivas’ vehicle with a firearm.

Giovany Joel Crespo Hernandez, 27, is the third person of interest who turned himself into custody in Seminole County. Hernandez, who was wanted for unrelated drug charges, was the last person Aguasvivas spoke to via Facetime before her death. Investigators believe she was on her way to meet him at his Casselberry home to deliver money and other items. Hernandez has not been charged in connection with the carjacking and homicide, but remains incarcerated on drug trafficking charges.

The case is described as being about drugs and money by Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma. He stated that the most dangerous individuals involved in the case have been taken off the streets with the arrests of Justiniano and Torres-Garcia. Aguasvivas’ brother and husband are no longer cooperating with detectives, with Lemma noting that the husband is not cooperating at all and the brother is believed to be telling lies to investigators.

The Florida carjacking case has become increasingly complex, with multiple individuals now in custody for various charges related to the incident. The investigation has uncovered connections to drugs and money, with Torres-Garcia and Justiniano believed to have played key roles in the carjacking. Hernandez, who was the last person that Aguasvivas spoke to before her death, turned himself in for unrelated drug charges and remains incarcerated. Aguasvivas’ family members, including her husband and brother, are no longer cooperating with investigators, leading to further challenges in solving the case.

Lemma emphasized that the most dangerous individuals in the case have been apprehended, but the investigation continues to unravel the full extent of the carjacking and subsequent homicide. The arrests of Justiniano, Torres-Garcia, and Hernandez have shed light on the complex nature of the case, which involves drugs, money, and connections between multiple individuals. The authorities are working to bring charges against the suspects for carjacking resulting in a death, and are seeking to gather more information to fully understand the circumstances surrounding Aguasvivas’ tragic death.

As the investigation into the Florida carjacking and homicide unfolds, the involvement of multiple persons of interest adds layers of complexity to the case. The connections between drugs, money, and the individuals involved are becoming clearer, with Justiniano, Torres-Garcia, and Hernandez playing key roles in the events leading up to Aguasvivas’ death. Despite challenges in cooperation from Aguasvivas’ family members, investigators continue to work towards bringing justice for the victim and uncovering the full truth behind the deadly incident that shocked the community.
