Eminem’s compilation albums, Curtain Call 2 and the original Curtain Call, are both making waves on the Billboard charts. Curtain Call 2 has reappeared on the Billboard 200 at No. 164 after not appearing last time, while the original Curtain Call continues to perform well, almost 20 years after its release. In the past tracking period, Curtain Call 2 moved 8,793 equivalent units in the U.S., mostly from streams, as it only sold 56 copies in the same timeframe.

Curtain Call, the original compilation, is consistently present on various Billboard charts. However, it is slipping down on each list it appears on. Last week, Curtain Call moved 17,321 equivalent units, more than double of what Curtain Call 2 managed, indicating that fans prefer Eminem’s earlier work over his newer singles. Despite outperforming Curtain Call 2, Curtain Call is falling on several Billboard charts, dropping two spots to settle at No. 53 on the Billboard 200.

In addition to the Billboard 200, Curtain Call is also declining on three other rankings. It is slipping on the Top Streaming Albums to No. 45, the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums to No. 19, and the Top Rap Albums to No. 15. While it is losing ground in the current week, it could easily regain its position in the coming weeks, depending on the competition it faces. Eminem’s success with these compilations demonstrates the enduring popularity of his music and the loyalty of his fan base.

With his successful singles and compilation albums, Eminem is proving his longevity in the music industry. Both Curtain Call 2 and the original Curtain Call are shining on the Billboard charts, with the former reappearing and the latter continuing to perform well. Eminem’s earlier work seems to resonate more with fans, as indicated by the higher sales and streaming numbers of the original Curtain Call compared to Curtain Call 2.

Eminem’s presence on the Billboard charts showcases his enduring appeal and the timeless quality of his music. Despite the slight decline in rankings on various charts, both Curtain Call compilations are still making a significant impact nearly two decades after their release. As Eminem continues to release new music and captivate audiences worldwide, his past hits continue to hold their own and solidify his status as a rap icon.
