Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has given a first look at its Paris studios for the upcoming Olympic Summer Games Paris 2024, set to deliver the most immersive Games ever. As the 100 Days to Go milestone is celebrated, WBD has unveiled a host of content as the Road to Paris 2024 approaches, detailing how the broadcaster will use its portfolio to reach new and younger audiences. Viewers can expect to see sights and sounds of Paris from the main studios located at the prestigious Hotel Raphael, also known as Warner Bros. Discovery House. The studios will be home to high-quality programming and analysis, welcoming top athletes and dignitaries throughout the Games.

The technology used will connect WBD’s hubs across Europe and the United States, allowing for content to be managed and curated globally. Exclusive and original programming will be showcased to viewers, including interviews with top athletes, coverage of the latest action, and human-interest stories. The Olympians, hosted by BMX World Champion Matthias Dandois, will provide a behind-the-scenes look at elite Olympians as they prepare for the Games. Chasing Glory, a documentary series co-produced with Red Bull Media House, follows six athletes as they gear up for the competition. Paris: La Vie Sportive, narrated by Thierry Henry, will explore Paris’ historic relationship with sports since hosting the Olympic Games in 1924.

Warner Bros. Discovery will leverage the breadth of its network and brands to reach new and younger audiences during the Road to Paris. A consumer products program with Looney Tunes characters is in the works, with Eurosport set to air Sports Made Simple episodes presented by Bugs Bunny explaining various Olympic events. WBD Sports Europe will produce hundreds of hours of content for Eurosport’s social media platforms, creating an ‘always-on’ experience for sports fans. A dedicated microsite for Paris 2024 will launch on Eurosport.com, offering a comprehensive Olympic experience in 12 languages.

With WBD as the Home of the Olympics in Europe, fans can expect to watch all 3,800 hours of live action from Paris this summer on Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming platforms Max and discovery+. Eurosport’s channels will provide extensive live coverage throughout the 19 days of competition. The 100 Days to Go milestone signifies the start of a Summer of Sport on WBD’s linear and streaming platforms across Europe, featuring various sporting events. Since delivering its first Olympic Games in 2018, WBD has engaged record audiences across Europe, showcasing its innovative storytelling approach. The recent Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 saw over one billion minutes streamed on discovery+ and the Eurosport App, with a significant increase in digital subscribers compared to previous Winter Games. For Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, over 372 million viewers across Europe watched through WBD’s channels and platforms, underscoring the network’s strategy to expand Olympic coverage to a wide audience. As WBD prepares for the Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024, viewers can anticipate immersive coverage and compelling storytelling.
