After the Met Gala, where stars showed off their best outfits based on the theme “A Garden in Time,” celebrities changed into more comfortable attire for the afterparties. Stella McCartney hosted an afterparty attended by Matt Damon, Rita Ora, Cara Delevingne, Penélope Cruz, and Shakira. Cardi B co-hosted a party with Revolve Atelier and FWRD, changing into a gown for the occasion. Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, Usher, and Jennifer Goicoechea were spotted in casual outfits at Usher’s afterparty at the Edition Times Square. Kendall Jenner changed into a lace mini for the ApresMet2 party, while Dua Lipa added fishnet gloves and a furry stole to her Marc Jacobs look.

Lana Del Rey switched out her headpiece for a beige gown with embroidery for the ApresMet2 party, joining SZA, who wore a chartreuse plunging mini, and Lizzo, in a fuchsia bustier mini. Henson, Charli XCX, Serena Williams, and Cynthia Erivo also made outfit changes for the night’s festivities.
