Peacock’s streaming subscription plans will be increasing in price starting this summer. While most major streaming services raised prices in 2023, including Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, Paramount Plus, Starz, and Apple TV Plus, Peacock is the first to do so in 2024 among mainstream platforms. The last price increase for Peacock occurred in July, with monthly rates for Peacock Premium going from $5 to $6, and Peacock Premium Plus jumping from $10 to $12. Annual subscriptions also saw an increase from $50 to $60 for the basic premium plan, and from $100 to $120 for the more expensive subscription. There is still a free, ad-supported tier available, but new accounts are not eligible. Existing subscribers have the option to downgrade their plans if desired. Some customers may qualify for free Peacock Premium if they have Xfinity internet or Instacart Plus.
