Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson recently appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, where he discussed extraterrestrial life and government revelations about Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). Carlson mentioned the existence of a mysterious government scheme called “Project Aqua,” but it later turned out to be a misquote by him. The interest in UAPs has surged among the American public, prompting the Pentagon to establish the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) to investigate anomalous phenomena and confirm the existence of a government database with over 800 reports of such objects.

During his appearance on Rogan’s podcast, Carlson referenced a leak of “Project Aqua” that was supposedly released by the U.S. government accidentally. However, further investigation revealed that the name did not correspond to any known government scheme, leading to speculation on social media about its significance. Carlson later provided details about a project called Kona Blue, related to UFOs, which was mentioned in a recently declassified Pentagon document. This project aimed to reverse-engineer extraterrestrial spacecraft but was never fulfilled, ultimately being terminated due to a lack of merit.

In a March report released by the AARO, information about UFOs and UAPs dating back to 1945 was disclosed. The report detailed a program called Kona Blue, which sought to reverse-engineer any recovered off-world spacecraft but was never able to do so. Another declassified document shared by Carlson on the podcast provided more insights into this failed project, which included a “medical division” to analyze medical findings related to interactions with advanced aerospace vehicles. Despite Carlson’s assertion that the program resulted in deaths, it was clarified that no extraterrestrial craft or bodies were actually collected.

The AARO’s updated report in October 2023 revealed that the U.S. government had received a total of 291 reports of sightings between August 2022 and April 2023, with the office investigating over 800 cases overall. While the Pentagon has denied allegations of reverse-engineering extraterrestrial material, Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett expressed his belief that the government had recovered a craft at some point with possible beings. Burchett suggested that such recovered technology was being reverse-engineered, although the full understanding of these materials remains elusive.

Despite the intrigue surrounding Project Aqua and other related UAP investigations, it appears that the name itself was a misquote by Tucker Carlson, leading to confusion and speculation among audiences. The discussions on extraterrestrial life and government efforts to understand UAPs have fueled public interest in recent years, with increased transparency from the Pentagon through the establishment of the AARO. As further details emerge from declassified documents and official reports, the conversation around UFOs and alien encounters continues to captivate both the public and officials seeking to unravel these mysteries.
