Ultra Right Beer Company, a conservative, “woke-free” beer company that launched in 2023 as a rival to Bud Light, will be hosting an event at a University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill fraternity house to celebrate the actions of fraternity brothers who defended the American flag from anti-Israel protesters on campus. The event, dubbed the “Frat Boy Summer Kickoff,” will be held at the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity house and will feature free beer for attendees. CEO Seth Weathers expressed his admiration for the students’ actions and emphasized the importance of encouraging others to do the same.

The fraternity brothers at UNC Chapel Hill received praise for their bravery and patriotism after they were photographed hoisting an American flag that had been removed and replaced with a Palestinian flag on the university’s quad. The students stepped in as anti-Israel protesters attempted to take down the American flag for a second time. Weathers described the event as a “pro-America celebration” in honor of the students and their defense of the flag, highlighting the brand’s focus on patriotism and bold displays of beliefs.

Republican lawmakers, including Rep. Pat Fallon, commended the fraternity brothers for their courage and patriotism in defending the American flag on campus. The students faced profanity, rude gestures, and thrown objects from protesters as they stood guard over the flag until law enforcement could safely return it to its place. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also praised the students’ actions as admirable, recognizing their commitment to upholding American values.

A GoFundMe page was created to support the fraternity brothers with a goal of throwing them a celebration for their defense of the flag, which raised over $500,000 as of Saturday. Weathers acknowledged the potential challenges the students may face with managing the funds and expressed a desire to create an organic event to further encourage the patriotism displayed on campus. The Ultra Right Beer Company launched as a response to Bud Light’s partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, which had drawn criticism from conservatives across the country.

The event at the fraternity house is expected to draw a large crowd, with multiple fraternities and Old Row, a Barstool Sports subsidiary, participating in the celebration. Weathers indicated that the company is prepared to distribute a significant amount of free beer to attendees and anticipates a successful and enjoyable gathering. The focus of the event is to honor the students’ actions and inspire others to boldly display their patriotism and beliefs, in line with the values of the Ultra Right Beer Company.

Overall, the Frat Boy Summer Kickoff event at the UNC Chapel Hill fraternity house will serve as a celebration of the fraternity brothers’ defense of the American flag and a manifestation of patriotism and courage. The event is designed to honor the students for their actions and encourage others to follow their example, embodying the values of the Ultra Right Beer Company. With widespread support and admiration for the fraternity brothers’ response to the campus incident, the event is expected to be a positive and uplifting gathering that celebrates American values and unity.
