Popular YouTube group Dude Perfect, known for their basketball trick shots, has received a significant investment from private investment firm Highmount Capital, estimated to be in the range of $100 million to $300 million. This investment will help Dude Perfect explore new strategic opportunities and expand beyond the creator economy. Co-founder Coby Cotton expressed excitement about the opportunity to scale the group’s capabilities and turn their dreams into reality.

Consisting of five members who met at Texas A&M University, Dude Perfect launched their YouTube channel in 2009. The channel quickly gained popularity, leading to television appearances, brand deals with major advertisers, and live tours. With over 60 million subscribers and 17 billion views, Dude Perfect’s YouTube channel is ranked as the 35th most-subscribed channel, according to data from Social Blade. Beyond their YouTube channel, the group has secured various brand partnerships, including collaborations with Smoothie King and Nerf, as well as the development of their own board game.

Highmount Capital sees potential in Dude Perfect’s ability to connect with families and aims to help the group scale their business further through various ventures.
