The 2024 NFL draft may not produce the next Brock Purdy or Puka Nacua, but there were still several players who landed outside the first round who are poised to provide substantial returns on the draft capital invested in them. Some of the biggest steals of the draft include Adonai Mitchell, a wide receiver drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round, who brings incredible athleticism and skill set to the team. Another standout steal is Cooper DeJean, a cornerback/safety drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round, known for his versatility and playmaking ability.

Zach Frazier, a center drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round, is expected to be a key player in the team’s offensive front, with his rugged style and dominance in the run game. Payton Wilson, a linebacker also drafted by the Steelers in the third round, brings a blend of size, speed, and playmaking ability that could make him a staple in the team’s defense. Christian Haynes, a guard picked up by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round, is expected to provide stability to the team’s interior offensive line.

Troy Franklin, a wide receiver drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round, could be a valuable target for quarterback Bo Nix, with his big-play ability and built-in rapport with his quarterback. T.J. Tampa, a cornerback picked by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round, adds depth to the team’s secondary and has the potential to showcase his ball skills in their zone-heavy scheme. Jaden Hicks, a safety selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round, could be a future replacement for current players on the roster and is known for his coverage skills and big hits.

Brandon Dorlus, a defensive tackle drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round, could help bolster the team’s pass rush and learn from veteran Grady Jarrett before potentially taking over his role in the future. Austin Booker, a defensive end picked up by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round, brings a rangy threat off the edge and has drawn comparisons to Pro Bowl player Maxx Crosby. Overall, these players represent some of the best value picks in the 2024 NFL draft and could make significant impacts on their respective teams in the upcoming season.
