Rock icon Slash is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album Orgy of the Damned on May 17, which features collaborations with a variety of rockers and artists from outside the genre. His latest single, “Oh Well,” a duet with Chris Stapleton, has made its debut on the Billboard charts, adding to the guitarist’s impressive track record.

The new single has landed at No. 6 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart, selling 1,544 copies in its first week. This marks Slash’s fourth top 10 entry on the chart, with all four tracks from his solo career reaching the top tier. “Oh Well” now stands as the third-highest placement on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart for the musician.

Slash recently scored his first No. 1 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart last month as part of the supergroup Mark Knopfler’s Guitar Heroes with their charity track “Going Home (Theme From Local Hero).” As “Oh Well” gains traction on the charts, it also makes its debut on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart at No. 43, marking Slash’s seventh hit on this particular chart.

The cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well” has breathed new life into the decades-old composition, which was a top 10 hit in several countries but only reached No. 55 on the Hot 100 in the U.S. Slash’s rendition of the song has helped it become a hit once again, resonating with audiences and continuing his successful streak on the charts.

Slash’s ability to consistently top the charts with his solo material and collaborations showcases his enduring appeal as a rock icon. With the release of his highly anticipated album Orgy of the Damned on the horizon, fans can expect more chart-topping hits and memorable collaborations from the celebrated musician in the near future.

As Slash continues to make his mark on the rock music scene, his latest single “Oh Well” serves as a testament to his musical versatility and talent. With his impressive track record on the Billboard charts, Slash proves that he is a force to be reckoned with in the world of rock music, and fans eagerly anticipate the release of his upcoming album.
