The case of the abduction and murder of Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvivas in Florida has taken a disturbing turn as the suspect, Jordanish Torres-Garcia, admitted to police that he was paid $1,500 to carry out the crime. Garcia pointed a semiautomatic rifle at Guerrero De Aguasvivas’s SUV in broad daylight before kidnapping her. Garcia claimed that he had only received the gun half an hour before the abduction and it was not loaded at the time. He was seen getting out of a green-tinted Acura and approaching Guerrero De Aguasvivas’s vehicle, eventually entering the rear passenger seat before driving off with another suspect following behind.

Following the abduction, Guerrero De Aguasvivas was found dead in her burnt-up SUV in a rural area of Orlando. She had suffered multiple fatal gunshot wounds, and several shell casings were found at the crime scene. Garcia was arrested on a federal warrant for violation of probation related to a weapons charge in Puerto Rico after police connected him to the crime scene through his clothing. He is currently held at the Seminole County Jail in Florida on a charge of carjacking resulting in death. Investigators also found that the last person Guerrero De Aguasvivas spoke with before her murder was Giovany Joel Crespo Hernandez, who was arrested on drug trafficking charges.

Sheriff Dennis Lemma stated that the case involving Guerrero De Aguasvivas is believed to be connected to drugs and money, and the most dangerous individuals involved are now in custody. Crespo Hernandez turned himself in on drug trafficking charges but has not been charged with Guerrero De Aguasvivas’s murder. Hernandez’s girlfriend was also arrested for accepting a delivery of cocaine. The suspect who was behind the wheel of the green Acura during the abduction, Kevin Ocasio Justiniano, was arrested in Puerto Rico on unrelated drug trafficking and weapons charges. Both suspects are expected to be charged with carjacking resulting in death.

The investigation into Guerrero De Aguasvivas’s murder revealed a complex web of criminal activities involving drugs and money. The suspects involved in the case have been apprehended, including those responsible for orchestrating the abduction and subsequent murder. The arrest of Crespo Hernandez and his connection to drug trafficking shed light on the possible motives behind Guerrero De Aguasvivas’s death. Law enforcement agencies are working together to ensure that those responsible for the heinous crime face the consequences for their actions. The case serves as a reminder of the dangers posed by individuals involved in illegal activities and the importance of collaboration between agencies to bring them to justice.
