Real Madrid’s players stand to receive a substantial individual bonus if they can secure a Champions League victory and complete an impressive treble this season. According to MARCA, anonymous sources have revealed that each player could receive up to $1.5 million (€1.4 million) for achieving this feat. However, in order to claim this bonus, Los Blancos will first have to navigate past Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-finals, with a second leg tie taking place at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.

Should Real Madrid advance to the final, they will face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on June 1. The German side is looking to claim their first UCL crown since 1997 and second overall. Real Madrid, on the other hand, has an impressive track record in the competition, having lifted the trophy a record 14 times. Their most recent triumph came in 2021/2022 when Vinicius Jr. scored the only goal in a final against Liverpool in Paris.

The Spanish media outlet OK Diario has suggested that if Vinicius Jr. can once again play a decisive role in victories over Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, he could be a strong contender for the Ballon d’Or award. Regardless of individual accolades, President Florentino Perez has promised to reward the team for success on both the domestic and European fronts. In 2022, each player received approximately $970,000 (€900,000) for their achievements, and this amount is expected to increase to $1.5 million (€1.4 million) if they can secure the treble this season.

Real Madrid’s financial success this season has been bolstered by their recent La Liga triumph, which earned the club around $57 million (€53 million). If they can overcome Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final, the financial rewards will be even greater, with an estimated value of $161 million (€150 million). This figure represents a significant increase from the $143.7 million (€133.7 million) earned during their previous UCL triumph in 2021/2022. With their status as one of the richest clubs in the world, Real Madrid seems well-equipped to fulfill their financial obligations to their players for a successful season.
