The Queen City Exhibition (QCX) is a popular annual event that will take place from July 31 to August 4 at the REAL District. The event, which originated in 1884 as a fair to exchange goods, information, and experiences, has evolved over 140 years to become a highlight of the summer for many attendees. The acting president and CEO of REAL, Roberta Engel, expressed excitement about bringing back old favorites and introducing new initiatives that support the community.

The event will feature a variety of activities, including live music, rides, carnival food, bull riding, competitive eating, and more. A lineup of performances on the Original 16 Stage has been announced, featuring acts such as the Regina Symphony Orchestra, Our Lady Peace, Ludacris, Jess Moskaluke, and Trooper. Additionally, the Pole O’ Bones Rodeo will be returning on Thursday and Friday with competitions in bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and more.

A special promotion will be offered on Saturday, August 3, where anyone with tickets to the Saskatchewan Roughriders game against the Edmonton Elks will receive free admission to QCX on the same day. The event will also feature the Mini Donut Eating Competition in partnership with the Regina Food Bank, which will see top food eating champion Joey Chestnut returning to challenge his previous record of consuming 304 mini donuts in 8 minutes.

Tickets for QCX are currently on sale, with adult advance prices at $18 and gate passes at $20. Advance Daytripper tickets are available for $55, with gate prices at $65.
