The Global Center for Tolerance and Peace renews the headquarters and diplomatic immunities agreement with Malta
The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace renewed with the Government of the Republic of Malta, a member of the European Union, the headquarters and diplomatic immunities agreement. The Speaker of the Council, Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Jarwan, signed the renewal agreement with the Maltese Minister of Foreign Relations, European and Trade, Ian Burg, in the presence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Angelo Frugia, in the government room at the headquarters of the Maltese Parliament in the capital, Valletta. The agreement is a renewal of the headquarters agreement under which the Global Council for Tolerance was established in Malta as the headquarters country in 2017. The agreement includes the recognition of the Government of Malta as an independent international organization that works to spread the values of tolerance and peace, and enjoys diplomatic immunities that support the nature of its work.
