A Target employee in New Jersey stopped three women from leaving the store with nearly $600 worth of stolen items. The incident was captured on dramatic surveillance video, showing the employee springing into action after noticing the theft. The items in the cart were valued at $581.29, and the incident occurred at a local Target store. The employee stopped the women from leaving, prompting them to abandon their cart and flee.

The surveillance video showed the three women parading around the store, filling a red shopping cart with merchandise. One of the suspects was seen exiting the store and parking a silver Jeep SUV outside with an unknown temporary license plate and a spare front right tire. The other two suspects appeared to be heading towards the register but then left without paying. All three suspects gathered merchandise and added it to the cart before attempting to leave the store without paying. The employee was able to stop them before they could leave.

As the suspects fled into the Jeep, the employee retrieved the cart with the unpaid items. The Gloucester Township Police Department is now asking for the public’s help in identifying the three suspects. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police department or the Anonymous Crime Tip Line. Target has not yet responded to requests for comment on the incident. The quick actions of the Target employee prevented the women from making off with the stolen merchandise, highlighting the importance of vigilant staff in preventing theft in stores.
