Del Rio Police in Texas confirmed that the issue was with the carrier and not the city’s systems, reassuring residents that the problem was being addressed. This incident comes less than two months after a widespread AT&T outage caused disruptions across multiple states and impacted some 911 calls for hours, which AT&T attributed to a process error rather than a cyberattack.
