A significant amount of money was funneled into a liberal super PAC by a nonprofit founded and funded by billionaire George Soros. Records show that Soros’ Fund for Policy Reform donated $60 million to the Democracy PAC in the first quarter of this year. The Democracy PAC then distributed millions of dollars to various left-wing groups, including top Democratic committees benefiting House and Senate races, Planned Parenthood, BlackPAC, American Bridge, Americans for Contraception Victory, and ColorOfChange PAC. Among these groups, Color of Change has been particularly active in advocating to defund the police, receiving funding from Soros’ Open Society Policy Center.

The $60 million donation to the Democracy PAC is one of the largest figures in the 2024 election cycle so far, with only one state-level super PAC donating more money to Never Back Down, the super PAC supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign. George Soros recently passed control of his political empire to his son, Alex, who continues to exert significant financial influence through various organizations, including efforts aimed at flipping Texas to Democrats. Last fall, a Soros-funded group contributed over $15 million to a nonprofit associated with President Biden’s main super PAC for the 2024 elections to assess critical policy matters.

The Soros network appears to be actively involved in supporting President Biden’s re-election campaign, as evidenced by Alex Soros’ interactions with high-ranking Democrats. Pictures on Alex’s social media profiles show him with leading House and Senate Democrats since 2018, with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appearing most frequently. Alex had multiple meetings with Schumer, whom he referred to as his “good friend,” and visits with Pelosi, whom he praised as the “greatest Speaker of the House in American History.” Despite attempts to reach Soros’ Open Society Foundations for comment, no response was received by Fox News Digital.

Overall, the financial contributions made by George Soros’ nonprofit to the Democracy PAC highlight the significant influence and resources available to liberal groups supporting left-wing causes and Democratic candidates. The allocation of funds to key organizations such as Planned Parenthood, BlackPAC, American Bridge, Americans for Contraception Victory, and ColorOfChange PAC underscores the priorities of the Soros network in advancing progressive policies and political agendas. With the 2024 elections approaching, the involvement of wealthy donors like Soros in funding political campaigns raises questions about the impact of money in politics and the potential influence on election outcomes.
