Bryan Abasolo has filed a new motion in his divorce from Rachel Lindsay, seeking emergency spousal support. Court documents reveal that Abasolo claimed Lindsay is still using their marital finances and they are still living together amid their breakup. The couple met on The Bachelorette, got married in 2019, and were married for four years before Abasolo filed for divorce in January. Abasolo stated that the living situation with Lindsay is awkward and strained as they avoid communicating with each other, and he wants to move out but needs financial assistance to do so.

In his motion, Abasolo mentioned that he had put his chiropractic career on hold to support Lindsay’s career moves, which impacted his business negatively while her success as a media personality increased. Lindsay transitioned from being an attorney to a TV host, podcaster, and author after her appearance on The Bachelorette. The couple currently resides in North Hollywood after previously renting a luxury condominium in Los Angeles. Abasolo also alleged that Lindsay has been using their community property funds to pay for her legal fees and has refused to give him access to those funds for his personal expenses and legal bills.

Abasolo is requesting spousal support and asking the judge to order Lindsay to pay $75,000 for his legal fees. He mentioned that his income is insufficient to cover his rent, dining, and miscellaneous costs. Abasolo also stated that one of the main disputed issues in their divorce is the ownership of their L.A. home, claiming the majority of the down payment came from community property earned during their marriage. He believes he is entitled to half of their community property and needs financial assistance to compete with Lindsay’s legal team in securing his share. A hearing is set for July 10 to address these matters.

Lindsay spoke about the divorce on her podcast, “Higher Learning,” expressing gratitude for the support she received during this difficult time. She mentioned that she is trying to distract herself by focusing on work and is not yet ready to discuss the breakup in depth. Lindsay emphasized taking things day by day and trying to cope with the situation as best as she can. Lindsay’s response to Abasolo’s claims in the court documents is not known, as she has not commented on them publicly.

The ongoing divorce proceedings between Bryan Abasolo and Rachel Lindsay involve disputes over financial matters and the ownership of their shared home. Abasolo is seeking spousal support and financial assistance for legal fees, claiming that he needs support to secure his entitlement to half of their community property. Lindsay has not responded to Abasolo’s recent claims publicly, and the matter is set to be addressed in court in July. Both parties continue to live together in North Hollywood in an awkward and strained situation while navigating the complexities of their separation.
