Nathan Wade, the scandal-ridden special prosecutor hired by his former flame Fani Willis to handle an election-rigging case against former President Trump, has been accused of failing to pay child support and medical expenses for his estranged wife in a new divorce filing. According to the filing, Jocelyn Wade accused her ex-husband of neglecting to provide child support payments for their two children, leaving them struggling to pay rent and take care of Jocelyn’s urgent medical issues, including an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ultrasound due to severe physical symptoms. Her condition is worsening, and she fears needing emergency intervention.

The accusations against Wade come in the wake of his resignation as the lead prosecutor on the Georgia election interference case against Trump, after Trump’s co-defendants accused him of engaging in an affair with Fani Willis, misusing state and federal funds for personal reasons, and unethical behavior. Wade denied the affair allegations until he had been hired by Willis for the case. Jocelyn Wade claimed that Nathan Wade did not uphold the out-of-court divorce agreement they had in place to prevent him from testifying about the affair, leaving her struggling financially to support their children, pay for her medical needs, and cover expenses that he was supposed to handle.

Wade allegedly stopped providing financial support to his children, leaving Jocelyn with less than $1,000 a month in income and unable to work due to declining health. He reneged on promises to financially support his son’s soccer career, his daughter’s rent, and her educational aspirations to become a medical student preparing for the MCAT exam. Jocelyn had to step in to cover these costs, which Wade had allegedly committed to funding but failed to do so. She has repeatedly covered her daughter’s rent payments and other expenses using the spousal support awarded to her under a temporary order and agreement.

Jocelyn Wade and her lawyers are seeking payment from Nathan Wade to cover the child support payments, her medical expenses, and reimbursements for the expenses she has covered on his behalf. She stated that her medical provider will not schedule further appointments without upfront payment, putting her health at risk. While she is not demanding jail time for Wade, she is seeking legal action to enforce payments and ensure her medical needs and financial obligations are met. The divorce filing sheds light on the personal and financial struggles faced by the family as a result of Nathan Wade’s alleged negligence and failure to fulfill his responsibilities.
