Manchester United fans have been growing increasingly frustrated with manager Erik Ten Hag as the team struggles to perform well this season. Despite a positive pre-season last summer, the Red Devils have had a number of poor performances and worrying signs since the start of the Premier League campaign. After winning the Carabao Cup last season, it was expected that United would build upon this success under Ten Hag, but instead, performances and team structure have deteriorated.

Ten Hag was brought in to implement a possession-oriented style of play, but two years on, it seems he has abandoned this philosophy. While there is always a need to adapt to current circumstances, Manchester United have struggled to dominate teams they should be controlling. As the end of his second season approaches, Ten Hag has faced criticism for scraping past lower-tier opponents, drawing with relegation-threatened teams, and dropping points in crucial games.

Despite guiding Manchester United to another domestic cup final, there is skepticism among fans that the team has what it takes to defeat rivals Manchester City and win the FA Cup. Supporters are disappointed with the lack of progress under Ten Hag, as the team continues to exhibit the same issues in defense and lack of coherent attacking patterns. With rumors of new ownership considering alternative managerial options, it may be time for Manchester United to part ways with Ten Hag and search for a manager with fresh ideas and a commitment to playing with structure.
