The Houston Police Department has identified Anthony Martin Landry as the man wanted in connection with the murder of local attorney Jeffrey Limmer at a McDonald’s over the weekend. Limmer was shot after trying to deescalate a situation between an angry customer and employees at the fast food restaurant. Landry allegedly went to his car, grabbed a gun, and shot Limmer before fleeing the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck. As of early Friday morning, Landry remains on the run.

Limmer’s family released a statement thanking the community for their support and asking for privacy as they mourn the loss of their loved one. Limmer was an associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and a member of the General Liability Practice. Houston police have released a previous booking photo of Landry in hopes of someone being able to identify him, offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.
