Abby Hensel, one half of the conjoined twin duo alongside her sister Brittany, married her husband Josh Bowling two years ago in a private ceremony in November 2021. The couple shared photos and videos of their wedding, including snapshots of their first dance. Since then, the Hensels and Bowling have settled in Minnesota, where Abby and Brittany work as fifth-grade teachers. Bowling is a United States Army veteran, and their social media profiles feature happy images of the trio enjoying time together and traveling.

Abby and Brittany were born in 1990 as dicephalous conjoined twins, a rare form of partial twinning with two heads side by side on one torso. They share a bloodstream and all organs below the waist, with Abby controlling the right arm and leg, and Brittany controlling the left. The sisters first gained public attention in 2006 with the documentary “Joined for Life” and went on to appear in various TV shows, including “Extraordinary People” in 2007 and their own reality series “Abby & Brittany” in 2012. The show followed them as they graduated from college and traveled to Europe.

Abby and Brittany have been candid about their desire to find love, expand their family, and become mothers. Abby expressed her wish to be a mom in a 2006 interview where she mentioned that they hadn’t figured out how it would work yet. The twins have preferred to keep their personal lives out of the public eye in the years following their reality show. Abby is currently a stepmother to Bowling’s 8-year-old daughter, Isabella, from a previous relationship. The family appears to be thriving in their new life in Minnesota.

Both Abby and Brittany are currently working as fifth-grade teachers in Brighton, Minnesota. They began working in the educational field shortly after graduating college. Abby mentioned that math and science are her strong points, while Brittany is more focused on language arts and reading. The twins have maintained a relatively low profile in recent years and have emphasized the importance of privacy in their personal lives. While they continue to make occasional public appearances, they mainly focus on their teaching careers and family life.
