FullContext, a new startup co-founded by the former leaders of sales software company Outreach, is introducing a new AI-powered tool for B2B companies called “buyer copilot.” This tool is designed to automate initial customer interactions and provide personalized product demos, all from a company’s website or outbound email campaigns. The goal is to increase efficiency for software sales teams by shortening deal cycles and providing valuable insights from conversations with the AI bot to advise companies on what buyers are looking for.

The use of AI in the B2B sales process is becoming more prevalent, with companies like FullContext leveraging these technologies to revolutionize the industry. According to co-founder Gordon Hempton, the role of humans in sales is expected to change drastically in the coming years. Despite the fierce competition in the B2B software automation sector, FullContext stands out by using AI to demo products and control content. The co-founders, Hempton and Wes Hather, previously worked together at Outreach, which reached unicorn status in 2019. Hempton left Outreach in 2019 and Hather departed a year later. They briefly worked on another startup called Spot, which focuses on virtual representations of offices, before shifting their focus to FullContext. FullContext currently has six employees and has not disclosed any information about fundraising.

Before their time at Outreach, Hempton and Hather were involved in a Y Combinator graduate company called Team Apart, which developed a real-time web collaboration tool for remote teams. Their experience in the tech industry and background in software sales have positioned them well to lead FullContext in innovating the B2B sales process. By utilizing AI technology to streamline customer interactions and provide personalized product demos, FullContext aims to help sales teams boost efficiency and improve customer engagement.

FullContext’s “buyer copilot” tool is part of a larger trend in the industry towards automation and AI-driven solutions for B2B sales.
