Seven years after Nick Viall’s time as The Bachelor, he remains heavily involved in Bachelor Nation. Maria Georgas recently suggested that Nick played a role in her edit on season 28 of The Bachelor. Maria, who appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, mentioned that although nothing romantic ever happened between her and Nick, they shared a friendship. She recounted a conversation with Nick in which he predicted that she would be portrayed as the villain on the show, a prediction that ultimately came true with drama involving another contestant, Sydney Gordon.

Maria clarified that she never intended to be the villain on the show but felt that Nick’s friendship with Ashley Iaconetti, who was close with Sydney, may have influenced her portrayal. She suspected a conspiracy due to the connections between Nick, Ashley, and Sydney. On the show, Sydney accused Maria of causing tension among the women, and although Maria apologized, Sydney continued to accuse her of bullying. Maria mentioned that she and Sydney had made amends in a scene that was filmed but never aired.

Maria emphasized that she holds no ill feelings towards Sydney, describing her as an amazing woman, and also expressed no animosity towards Nick. Despite the past drama and rumors surrounding their relationship, Maria stated that she and Nick have always been friends and that she respects his current relationship status. She mentioned that their history is in the past and that she is happy to see Nick’s personal growth.

The conflict between Maria and Sydney on The Bachelor stemmed from accusations of bullying and tension among the contestants. Sydney accused Maria of downplaying insecurities, leading to a clash between the two. Maria shared that she found it challenging to deal with the situation, especially after realizing the connections between Nick and Sydney. Despite the perceived conspiracy and drama surrounding their interactions, Maria maintained that she believes Sydney is a good person at heart.

Maria recounted a moment of reconciliation with Sydney that was not shown on television, where Sydney had apologized for misinterpreting her actions. However, tensions escalated later in the evening, leading to further accusations of bullying. Maria reflected on the intense environment of the show and how it can bring out the worst in people. She emphasized the importance of moving past the conflicts and maintaining positive relationships with both Sydney and Nick, highlighting the importance of friendship and growth in their dynamic.
