In March, Carolyn Naussany posted on Facebook inviting people in Branson West and Kimberling City to take photos with the Easter Bunny at the King Food Saver grocery store. The posts featured an adult in an Easter Bunny costume and baskets for sale. Lisa later posted the same photos in the Branson Buzz Facebook group, sharing her phone number as well. When contacted, Lisa’s partner Maria Tazbaz confirmed that she sold the Easter baskets at her hardware store, Mr. Riobe Discount Tools and More. Lisa’s history included glowing Google reviews from a user named “WelderGirl46,” who also left reviews for a nail salon and an auto dealership where Lisa was pictured with a new silver Chrysler.

Lisa’s ex-husband Steven Sullins described her as a professional forger and con artist, reminiscing about her arrests for fraud and bad checks following their divorce in 2002. Despite being certified as a nursing assistant, Lisa claimed to be an EMT, a hairdresser, and an underwater welder. Sullins recounted instances of Lisa’s deception, such as posing as a doctor in a bar with pagers and cell phones. Lisa and Sullins had a son together, who mentioned that Lisa purchased him a truck using money from a trust allegedly stemming from a marriage to a man named Kurt Howell in Las Vegas. However, there are no records of this marriage or Howell’s existence in Nevada. Lisa was born in California and raised in Oklahoma, where she had a troubled upbringing with a father who was a bounty hunter and a mother who died young.

Lisa’s criminal history began in 1997 with a bogus check arrest and escalated over the next two decades, including charges of check and credit card theft, fraud, and obstruction of investigations. In 2005, she faced federal charges for using fake Social Security numbers to obtain loans. After pleading guilty to one count, Lisa served 20 months in prison and paid restitution. Despite being on supervised parole by 2009, Lisa continued committing crimes, prompting her parole officer to request a return to prison due to infractions, including faking cancer and hotel fraud. Following imprisonment in Oklahoma in 2010 and 2011, Lisa moved frequently, deceiving lovers she met on dating sites for financial gain. Her probation officer noted a pattern of defrauding boyfriends, leading to her reincarceration.

Throughout her life, Lisa continued to engage in criminal activities, defrauding individuals and businesses, falsifying identities, and eluding law enforcement. Her history of deception, multiple arrests, and repeated imprisonments paint a picture of a woman skilled in manipulation and fraud. Despite the various personas she assumed and the cons she orchestrated, Lisa’s actions ultimately led to legal consequences and prison time. The cycle of deceit, crime, capture, and release characterized Lisa’s tumultuous existence and marked her as a serial offender with a trail of victims in her wake.
