Baskar Sridharan, a former Google executive, has joined Amazon Web Services as a vice president leading the AI/ML Services and Infrastructure team. Sridharan brings a wealth of experience from his time at Google and Microsoft to his new role at AWS. Amazon has transferred its Sustainability organization, led by Chief Sustainability Officer Kara Hurst, to the Global Communications & Community Impact organization overseen by Drew Herdener. Additionally, Brittany Jarnot, previously with the Washington Technology Industry Association, is stepping down to join Salesforce in a government affairs role after working for the U.S. House of Representatives.

Kenny Daniel, co-founder of Algorithmia, has joined Madrona as an entrepreneur-in-residence. Daniel, who was previously a CTO at DataRobot, brings his expertise in machine learning to his new role at Madrona. Furthermore, Ron Miller has stepped down from his senior engineering position at Starbucks after working for Nordstrom and founding a startup called URGravity.
