Andrew Bennett, former Chief Marketing Officer at Smartsheet, has now taken on the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Conga, a startup in the Denver area focused on helping companies manage revenue. Bennett, based in Seattle, previously spent a decade at Smartsheet in various marketing leadership roles before becoming CMO in 2021. Conga, founded in 2006, serves over 11,000 customers with software that streamlines revenue-related operations such as proposals, billing, and renewals. Bennett brings his experience from working at companies like Onyx and founding Deneki Outdoors to his new position at Conga.

Christina Mautz, the former CMO at Moz and Panopto, has joined Seattle-based fintech startup Valid8 Financial as Executive Vice President for Marketing. Mautz, who previously worked as a consultant, spent time at video management company Panopto and led marketing at SEO firm Moz for over three years. Valid8, founded in 2017, offers a forensic accounting platform to legal and financial professionals for analyzing the flow of funds. The company recently raised $8.5 million in a Series A round and announced Brett Suchor’s new role as Executive Vice President for Strategic Partnerships.

Acumatica, a Seattle-area business technology company, has added Nancy Harris and Zach Nelson as new board members. Harris, previously at Sage North America and Asure Software, brings her expertise to the board along with Nelson, the former CEO of NetSuite, who also held leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, Oracle, and McAfee Network Associates. Their addition to Acumatica’s board strengthens the company’s leadership team with seasoned software industry veterans.

Ada Developers Academy, a Seattle-based coding bootcamp, announced the departure of interim CEO Shawna Young and the appointment of Tina-Marie Gulley as the new interim CEO. Young, who joined Ada last year after staff reductions and admissions pauses, is moving on to become the CEO of Camelback Ventures. Gulley, a longtime board member at Ada, steps into the interim CEO role to continue the bootcamp’s mission of training women and non-binary individuals in software development.

Trupanion, a Seattle-based pet insurance company, revealed that Dan Levitan of Maveron and Dr. Zay Satchu of Bond Vet will be stepping down from the board after the annual meeting this year. Levitan, a co-founder of Maveron, and Satchu, a co-founder of Bond Vet, have provided valuable insights and guidance to Trupanion during their tenure on the board. Their departure marks a change in the company’s leadership structure as it continues to innovate and grow in the pet insurance market.
