Ten years ago, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were happily married in an extravagant ceremony in Florence, Italy, attended by 200 guests including celebrities like John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Jaden Smith, and Tyga. However, there were some notable absences, such as Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian and stepbrother Brody Jenner, who both had reasons for missing the wedding. Andrea Bocelli surprised Kim by performing at the ceremony, and the couple’s eldest daughter North also wore custom Givenchy for the occasion, despite Kylie Jenner dying her hair blue right before the wedding, much to Kim’s displeasure.

The festivities also included a trip to Paris and a rehearsal dinner in Versailles, where Lana Del Rey performed for the guests. Kim and West settled into marital life, eventually having four children together. However, their marriage came to an end when Kim filed for divorce from West in February 2021, with the divorce being finalized in 2022. Despite some public disagreements and accusations, such as West claiming Kim was keeping their children away from him, the pair have maintained an amicable relationship for the sake of their kids. Kim has spoken out against West’s antisemitic remarks and both parties have tried to keep their personal lives separate.

Although Kim and West’s marriage may be over, the memories of their extravagant wedding and the love they once shared will always remain. The season 9 finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians captured the joy of their nuptials, with Kim and North walking down the aisle to the sound of West’s song “Awesome”. While Kim and West may have moved on separately, they continue to co-parent their children and prioritize their well-being. The couple’s wedding was a fairytale event, but their real-life relationship had its ups and downs, ultimately leading to their decision to part ways.

As Kim and West navigate their post-divorce lives, they strive to maintain a positive and respectful relationship for the benefit of their children. North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm continue to be their top priority, and Kim wants to ensure that they have positive relationships with both parents. Despite any public disagreements or controversies, Kim and West’s focus remains on co-parenting and creating a stable and loving environment for their kids. Moving forward, they will continue to support each other as co-parents and strive to keep any personal conflicts out of the spotlight. While their marriage may have ended, their shared love for their children remains a strong bond between them.
