Zelensky: We want “just retribution” from Russia


Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the United Nations yesterday that a crime had been committed against his nation, and that Kyiv wanted “just retribution” from Russia. In a recorded speech, Zelensky outlined what he said were five non-negotiable conditions for peace. These conditions included punishing Russia for its war on his country, restoring security to Ukraine, its territorial integrity and security guarantees. He rejected any peace proposal other than the plan proposed by Ukraine.
