The Civil Service Bureau in Kuwait lifted the ban on 625 vacancies for non-Kuwaitis in the Ministry of Health.
According to the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Anbaa, the Bureau mentioned in its letter to the Ministry of Health that the jobs that had been banned were distributed among 77 doctors, 485 for nursing staff, 52 for technicians, in addition to 11 jobs for pharmacists.
The Bureau called on the Ministry of Health not to fill these previous positions until after completing the legal period for which salaries were paid to their outgoing incumbents in return for the balance of their periodic leaves, in addition to not having these degrees canceled by the Ministry of Finance in the budget of the Ministry of Health for the next fiscal year.
