Gulf Cooperation Council: We support efforts to mitigate the effects of the Ukrainian-Russian crisis

The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, confirmed the support of the Cooperation Council for all efforts aimed at mitigating the effects of the Ukrainian-Russian crisis.

This came during Al-Budaiwi’s meeting today with the Assistant Secretary-General and UN Coordinator of the Black Sea Initiative for the Transfer of Wheat and Grains, Abdullah Dashti, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), during the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments, developments and workflows of Ukrainian exports of wheat, foodstuffs and fertilizers, including ammonia through a safe sea humanitarian corridor, and the mechanism of action of the Black Sea initiative to transport wheat and grains and its importance in maintaining the stability of food security.
