Six people, including three children, were killed in a school shooting in Nashfield, Tennessee, according to local authorities.
Yesterday, the attack took place on a private school that teaches children up to the age of twelve.
The police said that some of them clashed with the perpetrator of the attack, a 28-year-old woman believed to be a former student at the school, and killed her.
Crime statistics indicate that mass shootings committed by women are much rarer than those committed by men.
Officials said in a press conference held about the accident that the dead included three children and three school staff.
