A local state of emergency was declared in Jefferson County, Kentucky due to thousands of power outages following the storms. Several vehicles on Interstate 265 in Indiana were flipped during strong winds, blocking westbound lanes, but there were no reported injuries.

In Rockdale County, Georgia, a possible tornado struck, leaving trees down at several locations. Dozens of impassable roads with downed trees and power lines were reported, prompting emergency officials to advise against unnecessary travel. Another possible tornado was reported in Conyers, Georgia, with power lines and trees down throughout the area. In Chilton, Alabama, multiple structures were damaged, and trees were down along several county roads, with three more reports of possible tornadoes.
