The Saudi and Iranian foreign ministers agree to a bilateral meeting between them soon


Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his Iranian counterpart, Hussein Amir Abdollahian, agreed to hold a bilateral meeting between them soon, in order to pave the way for the reopening of embassies and consulates between the two countries.

This came as part of a phone call made by Prince Faisal bin Farhan with the Iranian minister, during which the two sides exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

On the other hand, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated the new Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, on the occasion of assuming his new position, wishing him all success, during a phone call between the two ministers.

While the call dealt with reviewing bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in order to achieve the interests of the two countries and peoples, in addition to discussing regional and international developments of common concern.
