A.J. Francis recently entered Major League Wrestling (MLW) and quickly set his sights on Alex Kane and the Bomaye Fight Club with the intention of becoming the group’s new leader. He defeated Mr. Thomas, one of Kane’s closest confidants, at “Once Upon A Time in New York City” and is now scheduled to face the former MLW Heavyweight Champion at “MLW War Chamber” in Tampa, Florida. Francis described his rivalry with Kane as being inspired by the “Black Panther” movie, with both alpha dogs fighting for control of the group.

Francis stated that he sees himself as an outsider trying to make his claim for the throne within Bomaye. He emphasized that he has already started sowing dissension in Kane’s ranks and beating his top right-hand man, Mr. Thomas, as part of his plan to take over. Francis has shared some of his plans for the group once he becomes its leader, starting with defeating Kane. He believes that having Bomaye backing him will protect him from any threats and elevate the group to the level of exposure they deserve.

In his interview with Fox News Digital, Francis teased the possibility of adding new members to Bomaye once he takes control. He mentioned the potential of bringing in wrestlers like Rich Homie Swann from TNA or old friends from his time in WWE. Francis expressed his excitement about the opportunities available at MLW and how founder Court Bauer is supportive of new ideas. He sees a lot of potential for growth and success for both himself and the group.

Apart from Francis and Kane’s match, the “MLW War Chamber” card includes other exciting matchups such as New Japan Pro-Wrestling World TV Champion Matt Riddle defending his title against Kosei Fujita and Janai Kai facing off against Unagi Sayaka for the World Featherweight Championship. Fans can look forward to a night of intense competition and high-stakes wrestling action.
