The International Air Transport Association (IATA) confirmed to Al-Bayan that Dubai will host the 80th annual general meeting of the association and the World Air Transport Summit, which will be held from 2 to 4 June 2024.
This annual event attracts senior leaders of the aviation industry, as it is attended by about 300 international airlines that are members of the International Air Transport Association, in addition to strategic partners, aircraft manufacturers, as well as representatives of international and regional organizations and bodies concerned with aviation.
Muhammad Nani, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), announced at the conclusion of the assembly meeting that was held today that Emirates Airlines will be the host airline for the Air Transport Conference (IATA), which will be held from 2 to 4 June 2024.
Emirates President Sir Tim Clark said he was delighted to host such an important international conference and commended the President and his team for the successful organization of this year’s event.
The association includes 300 airlines from 120 countries, which constitute 83% of the total air traffic in the world.
