Sunrise presenter David ‘Kochie’ Koch has returned to work after he vanished part-way through the breakfast show on Tuesday morning.
The Channel Seven star was on air for the start of the program from 5.30am before he suddenly disappeared during an ad break shortly before 6am.

His co-host Natalie Barr told viewers at the time that the 66-year-old was suffering with a bout of laryngitis and “couldn’t really speak,” so was sent home to rest.
“You may notice something slightly different,” she said down the camera.
“Kochie came in and he bravely fought on for about 25 minutes.
“He had laryngitis yesterday and apparently he’s still got it”
The long-serving host had a croaky voice for the short time that he was on the air.
7NEWS presenter Michael Usher covered for his colleague for the remainder of the show as well as on Wednesday and Thursday before Kochie returned to the Sunrise desk on Friday.
Barr poked fun at her co-host at the beginning of the programme, saying some people may not be happy that his voice has finally returned.
“Morning everyone, happy Friday! Kochmeister is back and he can speak again,” she said.
“His wife is not too happy,” she joked, referencing Libby, who the breakfast TV star has been married to for more than four decades.
Kochie replied that the news he can speak again will “disappoint a lot of people” before cracking on with the show.
