The hunt is on for a Victorian man who has woken up $40 million richer after winning the division one in Thursday night’s Powerball draw.
The mystery winner held the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1394.
They have won the entire $40 million jackpot, however, they just don’t know it yet.
As well as this winner, there were 1,330,835 winners in divisions two to nine who won more than $24,588,923.20.
This includes 26 division two winners who each took home $26,183.75.
The Lott team say they were “unable to reach the winner to deliver the remarkable news”.
“We tried to make constant with our latest division one winner shortly after the draw, but sadly when we called our winner’s number, it went to voicemail,” they said in a statement.
The Lott are urging all players to check their numbers as soon as possible as well as their phones for any voicemails.
