The 43-year-old streamed the live video from what appeared to be his home in Bolton, Greater Manchester, and began by stating he refused to have respect for women, and they should ‘shut the f*** up’ about their rights.

“Have some respect for females? Nope. You’re all f****** scruffy c****,” he ranted in the video.

“But I do like kind of p****** women off.”

The social media personality, who boasts more than 420,000 Instagram followers, then referenced his facial injury, saying he “got whacked”, before continuing his tirade.

“I just don’t agree with women thinking there’s some sort of hierarchy. It’s weird,” he said.

“I’m a female, and I’ve got a hierarchy. A hierarchy of what? Shut the f*** up.”

However, when the video came to his publisher Penguin’s attention, it described his behaviour as “unacceptable”.

“Penguin Michael Joseph is appalled by John Clark’s unacceptable behaviour,” it said in a statement to the Daily Mail.

“We do not have any more books under contract with John and will not be working with him in future.”

Clark rose to fame during lockdown when he began posting about his weight-loss journey through meal-prepping.

He and his girlfriend, Charlotte Deniz, lost an incredible 95kg between them.

Together they amassed a following of more than 1.6 million people on TikTok.

Clark has also sold more than 25,000 copies of his book, landing him a spot on The Sunday Times Bestseller List and work with the BBC, as well as selling his own merch. has reached out to Penguin Books for further comment.
