A prisoner has escaped from police custody while at Rockhampton Hospital in central Queensland.
Queensland Corrective Services said Barry Kenneth Bloomfield left the hospital some time on Saturday, June 3.
He was serving a two-year and six-month sentence for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Police and corrections officers are searching for the man.
They said anyone that may see him should not approach him but contact police immediately by calling triple-0.
Bloomfield is 176 cm tall, has a medium build, dark complexion and black hair, a spokesperson for corrective services said.
7NEWS understands he had a leg iron and handcuffs on when he left the hospital.
