Police investigate after shot man turns up at hospital, another left with assault injuries
Victorian police are investigating the circumstances that led to a man arriving at a Melbourne hospital with a gunshot wound.
Police said the man who was shot self-presented to hospital on Saturday and was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A second man was located with “assault-related injuries” off Barry Road in Thomastown just after 5pm Saturday.
Details of what happened are unclear and police are continuing to make enquiries.
