A man has admitted to murdering his Chinese student girlfriend before he fell or jumped from a southern Sydney unit block.
Wearing prison greens and in a wheelchair, Weijie He appeared for arraignment via videolink in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday.
The 22-year-old pleaded guilty to the stabbing murder of Liqun Pan on June 27, 2020 at Wolli Creek.

He was found unconscious outside the unit on that date.
The next day detectives found the body of his 19-year-old girlfriend inside an apartment.
She was a Chinese national studying English on a student visa.
Before he formally entered his guilty plea, He said: “Because she is my girlfriend, I have to take responsibility.”
At a hearing in June, Justice Helen Wilson was told He fell or jumped from the fourth floor of the apartment block and sustained a serious brain injury.
