A man has been killed after becoming trapped underneath a trailer on a highway in the Northern Territory.
Police say they received reports the man had been trapped at about 5.15pm on Thursday, about 10km east of the Victoria River Roadhouse, southwest of Katherine.
The man was declared deceased by police who say the death was “non-suspicious”.

Investigations into how the driver became trapped underneath the trailer are now underway.
NT Worksafe has been notified and have commenced an enquiry.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
A truck and the trailer remain blocking the inbound lane to Katherine on the Victoria Highway.
Motorists have been warned to expect delays and have been told to avoid the area if possible.
Anyone with any information regarding the incident has been urged to contact police.
