Sunrise host David Koch has been missing on air for the last few weeks, travelling to London for his daughter’s wedding.
The big day finally arrived over the weekend, with Kochie walking Georgie down the aisle in a stunning ceremony at Regent’s Park, as she married Alex Merkel, otherwise known as ‘The German’.
Georgie is Kochie’s youngest child and the last to get married, but he says it was just as beautiful, fun and emotional as his previous kids’ weddings.

Kochie and his wife Libby have four adult children and eight grandchildren.
His other daughters Brie and Samantha were bridesmaids, granddaughters Matilda and Lila junior bridesmaids and two-year-old Ella was a flower girl.
“It was great to have the entire family together,” Kochie told Confidential.
“Even though it was our fourth (family) wedding of our youngest daughter Georgie, it was just as beautiful, fun and emotional as the other three.”
But it wasn’t just about the ceremony, the two families have been sharing a house during the lead up.
“We’re all sharing a house with he and his parents before the wedding and we’ve never met,” the 66-year-old explained on Sunrise before he left.
“It’ll either be Father Of The Bride or Nightmare On Elm Street,” he added with a laugh.
“It will be a bit of fun.”
Pre-wedding events included a high tea at The Ritz, hosted by Libby, before things got a bit looser at the hens party.
The wedding comes after the breakfast TV presenter gushed about his UK-based daughter’s engagement when she shared the happy news last year.
Kochie took to social media in September to say he can’t wait to welcome Alex into his growing family.
“When your baby girl gets engaged,” Kochie captioned the announcement post on Instagram.
“Congrats to Georgie and ‘The German’ aka Alex … We couldn’t be happier for you both.”
Kochie is set to return to Sunrise next week.
