Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvivas, a 31-year-old woman from Homestead, Florida, was tragically killed in a carjacking incident in Winter Springs. The incident was captured on video, which showed a man approaching her vehicle, displaying a weapon, and then getting in the backseat. The suspects, who were driving a green Acura, are still on the loose. Aguasvivas’ body is believed to have been found inside a burned SUV in Osceola County, but positive identification has not yet been made. Her father, speaking to a local TV station, described her as studious, obedient, and caring, and emphasized that she never had problems with anyone. She was a U.S. citizen originally from the Dominican Republic and was the mother of a 6-year-old girl.

Aguasvivas’ father expressed shock and devastation at the news of her death, stating that she had always taken care of her family and friends and had a loving and caring nature. He recounted the moment he found out about what happened, and urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward and cooperate with authorities. He emphasized the importance of clarity in the investigation, stating that what happened to his daughter could happen to anyone, and called for prayers for clarity and protection for the children of others. He also appealed for strength to get through the difficult situation and expressed gratitude for the support and prayers from the community.

During a press conference on the investigation, Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma revealed that Aguasvivas’ husband has been cooperating with authorities. However, Lemma noted that he believes the husband may be withholding information. Despite this, the husband is not considered a person of interest or a suspect in the case. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to search for the suspects involved in the carjacking. The community has been urged to come forward with any information that may assist in bringing those responsible to justice.

The loss of Aguasvivas has deeply impacted her family, friends, and community. Her father described her as a dedicated and caring individual who always put the needs of others before her own. Her untimely death has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her, and her absence will be deeply felt. As the investigation continues, there is hope for justice to be served and for those responsible for her tragic death to be held accountable. In the meantime, her family continues to grieve and seek closure, while also remembering her fondly and cherishing the memories they shared with her.
