While the annual film and TV awards season usually sees its industry stars dressing to impress with elegant designer gowns, hoping to make fashion magazines’ best-dressed lists, musicians and pop stars are always a bit more willing to take crazy risks.

Here’s our selection of some of the weirdest, wackiest and most wonderful outfits on display.

Shania Twain

She got the whole world grooving to her hit “That Don’t Impress Me Much”, but social media was less than impressed with the star’s bold black and white ensemble on the red carpet.

Ingrid Andress

The American singer dared to bare, although from the front this dress looked reasonably demure. Turn around and it’s a completely different story.
