The spectator held the ball out for Langford to come and collect it only to throw it away at the last second.
He then gave the Essendon forward some choice words and abuse before sitting back down.
Langford was unfazed by the interaction and calmly slotted the tough goal from a tight angle before pointing back to the fan in celebration.
“He turns to the bloke who wouldn’t give him the ball and says, ‘have some of that’,” Channel 7 commentator James Brayshaw said.
Fellow commentators laughed at the replays, with Brian Taylor adding, “nice civilised manner he did it in as well.”
“Anzac Day is always the best for crowd involvement and certainly nice to be able to say hello to the crowd,” former Bomber Jobe Watson said in commentary.
Social media lit up with many fans calling the Bomber’s reaction “elite”.
