Coles, Woolies and Bunnings shoppers go wild over 30-second shower cleaning hack


An Aussie mum has sent Woolworths, Coles and Bunnings shoppers into a frenzy with her simple shower screen cleaning hack using a very unlikely buy.

Sharing on a popular Facebook page, the home owner revealed how she transforms her shower screens using Finish Rinse Aid – which is typically used in dishwashers.

The popular buy is currently half price at Coles and Woolworths, on sale for just $4 a bottle. It is also available at Bunnings for $5 each.

In her post, the mum said she’d achieved amazing results with no scrubbing required.

“This stuff is AMAZING on shower glass,” she said on the Mums Who Clean Facebook page.

“Just hose down glass, pour some of this on a microfibre cloth and wipe. No elbow grease needed.”

Thousands of home owners reacted to the post, with many agreeing the product works wonders on glass.

“It’s great, use it all the time,” said one.

Added another: “Don’t give away all the best secrets!”

A third said: “It’s amazing on all glass.”

Others said they were keen to give the simple hack a go.

“If this works on my shower screens, you will all hear me cheering,” one responded.

One more wrote: “I’m so excited to give this a go, sounds really easy.”

Fans of the popular buy said they also used it on other cleaning jobs.

“I use it in the soapy water when I wash my car, makes it so shiny!” said one.

Another wrote: “Put some in your water for your windscreen as well, works perfectly!”

Said one more: “Works great on stainless steel too. I use it on my cook top.”

Some said it wasn’t necessary to use the Finish brand, adding that most brands of dishwasher rinse aids “will do the job”.
