Aussies looking for a well-earned escape have finally got something to look forward to thanks to Virgin Australia’s latest sale, with domestic and international flights on offer starting from as low as $55.
The airline has dropped 350,000 economy fares in its Low Fare, More Air sale.
For under $100, travellers can fly one way from Sydney to Ballina from $55, Sydney to the Sunshine Coast from $75, Melbourne to Launceston from $75 and Sydney to the Gold Coast from $85.

Those looking to escape the dreary autumn weather can hop on a plane from Melbourne to Hamilton Island one way for $139 or from Sydney to Cairns for $119.
An overseas island paradise adventure is also up for grabs with return flights from Sydney to Fiji from $459, Brisbane to Samoa from $539 and Melbourne Vanuatu from $539.
If a bustling city escape is more your style, return flights are on offer to Tokyo from Cairns (from $699), Melbourne via Cairns (from $819) and Sydney via Cairns (from $819).
Virgin Australia group chief commercial officer Dave Emerson said there was never a better time to book ahead as the colder months approached.
“Australians know what they get when they fly Virgin Australia,” he said.

All fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits.
The sale is running until midnight AEST, Monday, April 3 or unless sold-out prior to that.
