The AFL has announced the squad of 42 players that is in contention for selection in the season seven AFLW All-Australian team.
A final team of 21 players, including a captain and vice-captain, will be announced at the W Awards, held on November 22.

Hawthorn, Port Adelaide and the Sydney Swans were left without any players named while there were 16 players named in the squad for the first time including young Geelong gun Georgie Prespakis, Richmond’s Ellie McKenzie and Western Bulldog Katie Lynch.
